Getting started

Cepho Beta is an Android app — it runs on your phone, not on a PC or Mac.

On your phone: Open cepho.cloud/apk in Chrome (or another browser), tap Download beta APK, allow installs from your browser if Android asks, then open the file to install.
On a PC: You can download the APK here, then transfer the file to your Android phone (USB cable, Google Drive, email, AirDrop-style share, etc.). On your phone, open the file in your downloads or file manager and install from there. The app cannot run on Windows or macOS.

1 · Download & install

Get the APK onto your Android phone using either path above. Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser or file manager — enable it for this install only, then open the file to install Cepho.

2 · Sign in

Open Cepho, sign in with Google or email. Your account is registered as a beta tester automatically.

3 · Pair your IDE

Install the extension from cepho.cloud/extension, connect your Cursor or VS Code workspace, then chat from the app.

4 · Beta message limit

You get 15 messages during beta. When you reach the limit, chat is blocked server-side — upgrade paths unlock at public launch.
